About

My name is Andrea Starbuck, and no, I’m not related to the coffee brand!

What I am is someone who understands how careers actually work, not just in theory, but in practice.

I spent over 10 years building and running a successful recruitment business, helping hundreds of people secure new roles. That experience means I don’t just see things from the candidate side; I understand what employers are really looking for, how decisions are made, and where people often get it wrong. Alongside this, I’m a Level 6 qualified Careers Advice, Information and Guidance practitioner

I combine professional expertise with real-world insight, because here’s the truth:

There’s no magic formula. But there is a smarter way to approach your career.

My work is about helping you step out of autopilot and start making intentional decisions. Too many people stay in roles out of habit, uncertainty, or because they don’t know what else is possible. That’s where I come in.

I help you get clear on what you actually want, recognise your value, and position yourself properly in the market.

That means:

  • building confidence based on evidence, not guesswork

  • creating a CV and LinkedIn profile that genuinely represents you

  • understanding where the real opportunities are (including those hard-to-find ones)

  • knowing how to approach them with purpose

I work with a wide range of people, from students and returners to career changers and experienced professionals, but they all have one thing in common:

How does it work?

Getting started is straightforward and designed to give you clarity from the outset.

Start with a conversation.

We begin with an initial free, no obligation discussion to understand where you are now, what you're looking for, and what support will suit you best.

From here, we’ll decide whether a one-off session or a more structured programme is the right fit.

Choose your level of support

Depending on your needs, you can choose from:

  • A Foundation Session for focused clarity and direction

  • The Career Reset Programme for a complete, structured approach

  • Or Career Reset+ if you want more hands-on support and accountability

Work through the process

Each workshop is practical, focused, and built around your situation.

We’ll cover:

  • positioning yourself effectively (CV, LinkedIn, personal brand)

  • Face-to-face in person from my home office in Sevenoaks

  • In a centrally located workspace within a 10-mile radius of Sevenoaks, Kent

  • Virtually, I use Zoom as my online platform.
